Monday Music was set up to promote the benefits of singing for ‘well-being’ and is led by professional musicians. The members are mainly residents of Canterbury and its surrounding areas. We meet once a week to sing together because it makes us feel so good and is a perfect start to the week.
Monday Music is not a choir but a singing group who make beautiful music together. Anyone can join and there is no need to be able to read music. We use lyric sheets for the songs, and no other musical knowledge is required. Our wide repertoire is built around familiar songs, new ones, and simple fun rounds.
Monday Music Canterbury is led by Lucy Gove
Monday Music Folkestone is led by Grenville Hancox
